Flyer Pocket (the "App") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. This Privacy Policy describes the information the App collects and how it is used. The App is operated by First Penguin LLC. (the "Operator").

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information to provide the service.

• Account information: Email address, name, and authentication credentials from Apple ID or Google ID. For anonymous sign-in, only an anonymous identifier generated within the app is used.
• Children's profiles: Optional information that parents choose to register, such as a child's name, birth month, and the name of the school or daycare they attend.
• School paper images: Photos of school papers (newsletters, flyers, handouts) that parents take or pick from the photo library. Used to read the content and extract schedules and supplies.
• Usage data: App usage and crash data collected to improve the service.
• Device information: Basic device information needed to run the app, such as OS version and device type.

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes.

• Reading the content of school papers and extracting schedules and supplies
• Providing the family schedule sharing feature
• Improving app features and fixing issues
• Responding to your inquiries

3. Third-Party Services (Subprocessors)

The App relies on the following third-party services to provide its functionality. Each service is governed by its own privacy policy.

• DashScope (Alibaba Cloud International, Singapore) / OpenAI (United States): Used to read the text on school papers and analyze their content. DashScope is used by default; OpenAI is used only as a fallback when DashScope is unavailable. In both cases, the images and text we send are used solely to return the analysis result for that request and are not used to train the providers' models.
• Cloudflare: Used for secure data storage and delivery (D1, R2, Vectorize, Workers).
• RevenueCat: Used to manage in-app subscriptions.
• Firebase (Google): Used for crash analytics and service improvement.

4. Data Storage and Deletion

The data you entrust to us is managed as follows.

• Data is stored securely on Cloudflare's infrastructure (D1, R2, Vectorize).
• When you delete your account, all related data is deleted, including school paper images, analysis results, and search indexes (vector data).
• We securely retain your data until you delete your account.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for direct use by children under 13. It is designed to be used by parents and guardians who manage information about their children.

6. Information Security

We protect the information you entrust to us with appropriate technical and organisational measures. However, no method of transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we ask you to acknowledge this.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we change this Privacy Policy, we will notify you within the app or on our website. For material changes, we will provide advance notice.
